Do you have your Doe Bay Fest tickets yet? Do you have transportation arranged? Here’s some helpful hints for that big weekend on Orcas Island, August 14-15.

Follow these 3 simple steps to reserve your spot today:

1. BUY TIX: Go to Brown Paper Tickets to buy festival tickets ($30 in advance, kidsunder 12 free)

2. ACCOMMODATIONS: If you’d like to stay at Doe Bay Resort (recommended), call to reserve camping 360-376-2291. Camping is $35/night per tent (there is plenty of camping available). Some cabins are still available for Saturday night only in Moran State Park – call Doe Bay for details.

3. TRANSPORTATION: Parking is very limited so please carpool or sign up for Doe Bay shuttles from ferry. Washington State Ferries offers boats from Anacortes to Orcas Island multiple times daily.

Also, Doe Bay has chartered a water taxi (no cars) from Skyline Marina in Anacortes to Doe Bay’s Otter Cove. It will leave Anacortes on Friday Aug 14 at 7 PM. The return boat on Sunday Aug 16 leaves Doe Bay’s Otter Cove at 3 PM. Rates are $50/round trip or $30/one way. Call Doe Bay front desk for details and to reserve your spot 360-376-2291.

Other water taxis/foot ferries through Island Express and Paraclete are available.

Flights through Kenmore Air also available.
