I can tell you what didn’t happen the last time we played San Diego. We did not go to SeaWorld.

What I do know is that we played to a surprisingly full room at Bar Pink on a Tuesday night. I guess free shows have a way of doing that. Anyway, one of Hannah’s relatives capture the performance on video and gave it psychedelic treatment. You might want to drop that acid now… enjoy!

We are highlighting one video per day leading up to our show at the Crocodile this Thursday. Come join us!

We played a couple shows at The Boiler Room in Port Townsend, a little town across the sound from Seattle. You have to take a ferry to get there, so every time we go, it seems like an adventure. It’s got a quaint downtown on the waterfront with a few great pubs and restaurants.

The Boiler Room is a coffee house with no stage or sound guy. You basically show up and set up the PA yourself and then start playing whenever you feel like it. The crowd is mostly teens, and the times we’ve played there, the crowd has been sparse. We don’t really know anyone in PT or have connections there.

Hannah’s younger brother came with us on this trip, and he captured one of my favorite versions of “Westerfield” in the live setting. A big part of what I like is the lighting and the mood that it sets. Enjoy.

We had a crazy idea today. How about we showcase one video per day leading up to our show at the Crocodile, highlighting some of our favorite performances? Thanks to our fans, there are a number of videos floating out there on YouTube and Vimeo, capturing some of our songs from Seattle all the way down to San Diego.

Want to be a part of Friday Mile’s biggest show of 2010? Because we are playing The Crocodile this Thursday, and there are many good reasons to join us: great bands, our Croc debut, and tasty pizza next door. You should buy tickets here. Like, right now. It’s not every day that we play one of Seattle’s hallowed halls of rock and roll. There’s some serious history there, and we are primed to grace its stage.

We’ve even worked up a new tune for the occasion, one of many that we plan to unleash this year.

So join us, won’t you? Grand Hallway headlines, and they’ve just returned from SXSW where they undoubtably turned some heads. Ritchie Young from Loch Lomond will be joining the bill in the middle slot, playing some LL tunes with a chamber orchestra.

We graced the city of Portland with a little set opening up for Drew Grow and the Pastors Wives at The Woods. The venue is a former funeral parlor and we loved the vibe as we cruised through our set. Here’s a raucous rendition of our usual set-closer, “FYI.” Enjoy!
